• Check for Rotten Leaves: First, ensure that none of the orchid’s leaves are rotten. If you find any, carefully remove them. To prevent further issues, place a cotton pad soaked in water between the remaining leaves.
• Inspect Aerial Roots: Examine the orchid for aerial roots growing outside the pot. If present, make sure they can fit into a larger vase or container filled with water. Submerge the entire orchid, along with the previous vase, into the water-filled container.
• Provide Water to Roots: Allowing the plant and roots to absorb the necessary water, this method encourages the orchid to grow luxuriantly. As a result, it will produce large and colorful flowers.
• Monitor Water Levels: Keep an eye on the water levels in the container. When it’s about to be consumed, replace the container with a saucer. This ensures that the released water can be changed periodically.
